Job opportunities for candidates who have completed graduation in Physical Education. Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Kolkata office is inviting applications for the post of Sports Coach. A notification in this regard has been published recently.
According to the notification, one sports coach will be appointed for athletics, badminton, basketball, cricket, football, kabaddi, kho-kho, lawn tennis, table tennis, volleyball and chess. Candidates who have passed one year diploma or six months certification course in physical education from a recognized university will also accept applications. However, at least three years of coaching experience in a national level school, club or organization is required.
The persons appointed in the said posts shall work from 1st October to 31st December. They have to have classes for three days and four hours a week. Eligibility of candidates will be checked through interview. A total of 15 thousand rupees will be given as remuneration per month.
Aspirants have to attend the interview in person at IISER Kolkata campus on 29th September by 10 AM. On that day, application form, resume, photo ID and other documents should be kept with you. Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit for preliminary phase. Recruitment will be done in the final phase through written test and interview. Candidates will be given certificate by AIIMS Kalyani at the end of the training.
